Humanity's Team
observes that the core cause of humanity's continuing conflicts
and suffering is its most basic and sacred beliefs. The purpose
of the Team is not to endorse or set forth a particular spiritual
path, but to describe a path not yet widely taken, and to set forth
a process by which individuals around the world may open their minds
to examine this path, which includes a broad base of new ideas about
God and about Life that could bring humanity to where it says it
has always wished to go: a world of peace and joy and harmony and
the unlimited celebration of life.
Humanity's Team
encourages a two-fold process of:
A) Letting
go of the idea that humans already hold all the knowledge, all the
information, and all the truth they need to create the world of
which they have dreamed, and need not look further.
B)
Enlarging our present belief systems about God and about Life to include
new thoughts and concepts not heretofore seriously considered-or
in some cases even allowed to be considered-by the world's predominant
religious or political movements. Humanity's Team - Eugene Oregon
is providing a space for such exploration, and for the implementation
of the ideas emerging from it.
The ways in
which Humanity's Team sees this occurring are:
A. SELF-EDUCATION
By identifying
what the New Spirituality is, and being clear as to why it may now
be very desirable to help that emerge on the earth, Humanity's Team
members prepare the way for that to occur. We see HT members engaging
in this self-education process at four levels.
The first step
in this process could be to systematically educate oneself individually.
Commit to reading everything you can that speaks of alternative
ways of perceiving God and Life. We strongly suggest that this reading
begin with: Conversations with God Book 1, Book 2 & Book 3, Friendship
with God, Communion with God and The New Revelations by Neale Donald
Walsch. A Course in Miracles and all of the works from Barbra Marks
Hubbard, Eckhart Tolle, Gary Zukav, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Marrianne
Williamson… just to name a few.
B. EXTENDING
THE OUTREACH
As we seek to
make ourselves self-aware, and simultaneously begin to reach out
to share with a larger world the wisdoms and the truths of the New
Spirituality, it will become clear to us as we move through the
whole-systems approach to worldwide transformation that Humanity's
Team espouses that we teach what we choose to learn.
Establishing
local Humanity's Team groups in nations across the globe, creating
a presence for this worldwide outreach at the grass-roots level.
Humanity's Team - Eugene Oregon meets every week, and will
form smaller working groups, gathering more frequently, to plan
and produce specific on-the-ground outcomes relating to local concerns
(as well as national and international issues). We put into place
action programs leading to the goal of creating the space for a
New Spirituality to emerge on the earth, including:
A. Creating
New Spirituality Study Groups and Humanity's Team Emotional Support
Groups within their local community, to promote the understanding
and experiencing of the principles of the New Spirituality.
B. Offering
Classes and Learning Activities in the application of these understandings
to every day life. These could include classes and programs such
as:
i.
Parenting and the New Spirituality
ii.
Relationships and the New Spirituality
iii.
Sexuality and the New Spirituality
iv.
Business and the New Spirituality
v.
Education and the New Spirituality
vi.
Health and the New Spirituality
vii.
Politics and the New Spirituality
viii.
Spiritual Activism to Alter Our Collective Reality
These are only
examples. We are actively seeking volunteers to help us develop
these programs and learning activities. Please
let us know if you are interested.
C. Sponsoring
Community Level Dialogues, inviting participation by members of
the local clergy, the political leadership, government officials,
educators, the artistic and cultural community, and the public at
large.
These group
is focused on discussions and open dialogues addressing specific
issues of concern to segments of the community, or the community
as a whole. The program we have begun here in Dallas is:
D. Undertaking
and coordinating additional local and regional Spiritual Activism
Projects, such as:
i.
Public awareness campaigns
ii.
Get Out the Vote campaigns
iii.
Conscious Citizenry
iv.
Letter-writing campaigns
v.
Petitions, demonstrations, nonviolent protests
E. Funding
and sending its members to Retreat and Workshop Programs offered
and recommended by Humanity's Team and its parent organization,
the Conversations with God Foundation, designed to give people the
skills to live the messages of the New Spirituality. These could
include:
i.
The Level one 5-day intensive, ReCreating Yourself, produced by
the Conversations with God Foundation
ii.
The Level Two 6-day intensive, Being It, produced by the Conversations
with God Foundation
iii.
The Dahn Hak introductory program of body-mind-spirit integration
iv.
Funding and sending its members to Training Programs offered or
recommended by Humanity's Team, designed to give people the skills
to live and teach the messages of the New Spirituality. These
could include:
a.
The Humanity's Team Leadership Education Program and offered
by the Conversations with God Foundation.
b.
Programs and opportunities for personal and spiritual growth
offered by other groups and organizations, such as the educational
courses of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution created by
Barbara Marx Hubbard, or Dahn Hak, a program of body-mind-spirit
integration created by Dr. Ilchi Lee. Worldwide Team Humanity's
Team through its individual members, is establishing Humanity's
Team Centers in cities, towns and villages around the world
where people may gather for mutual support and co-creation of
programs and activities moving forward its mission
